VHR is a multi-award winning technical recruitment company, headquartered in London, supplying contract and permanent technical and professional staff to our clients within the Aerospace & Aviation, F1 & Automotive, Civils & Infrastructure, and Marine sectors.

VHR currently employs 70 members of staff across its 10 offices in London, Manchester, Birmingham, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Riyadh, Bologna, Prague, Leipzig and Nicosia and generates a turnover of over £40M annually.

The Company’s medium-term aims are to grow to 90+ staff and £75M annual turnover.

 

The Role:

  • Develop and manage a portfolio of Aerospace & Aviation, F1 & Automotive, Civils & Infrastructure or Marine sectors.
  • Developing effective sales plans utilising established sales methodology
  • Responsible for implementing an aggressive sales plan and ensuring sales quotas are met and exceeded
  • Build sales opportunities utilising detailed research on market responsibilities liaising with VHR Marketing and Sales teams on all aspects of a campaign
  • Using existing network of industry contacts to generate new business
  • Maintaining and expanding relationships with existing clients
  • As the position grows, leading and training new members of the account team
  • Attending client meetings in the UK and World Wide
  • Delivering sales presentations to high-level executives
  • Work with VHR Marketing to prepare and deliver client presentations articulately and confidently
  • Marketing and promoting a portfolio of recruitment services by assisting in the design of relevant sales collateral and through attendance at industry events in the UK and Europe
  • Networking with existing customers in order to maintain links and promote additional services
  • Responding to tender documents, writing proposals, reports and supporting literature with marketing and the bid team
  • Managing your own diary in order to organise and prioritise daily and weekly and monthly goals

 

The Individual

  • Deep knowledge of the recruitment sector including business development methods
  • Experience in cold calling clients / headhunting candidates and candidate management
  • Results orientated
  • Previous recruitment Account Management experience
  • Very good organisation skills and high attention to detail
