Building a WEC Capability

Building a WEC Capability

The Situation

Our automotive client announced their return to world class endurance racing.

They had one clear aim, to be the first car of their kind to enter the WEC. After their swift departure from open-wheel single-seater formula racing, they required an aggressive recruitment campaign in both engineering and production based in Germany.

The Solution

VHR identified and recruited a full team of design engineers with specialist experience.

Industry specialists were recruited by VHR for the build period, this included Composite Technicians, CNC Machinists, Model Makers and Motorsport Fabricators.

Regular on-site and off-site co-ordination took place.

The Outcome

Our client won 3 of the 6 races they entered in that year.

Their racing team finished in 2nd place in one of the worlds greatest sports car races, then further became world champions the next year.

Our partnership has resulted in over 85 permanent and contract staff being placed and multiple additional projects over the years.
