The F1 & Automotive industry grew by 18% in the last quarter, with the amount of Automotive jobs skyrocketing in volume across the country.
In a recent survey from CV Library, the job board compared Q3 job market data against jobs data of the same period in 2016, revealing the top ten best sectors in which to find a job as we head into the final quarter of 2017. Automotive jobs are currently the third highest in demand, with Manufacturing jobs topping the list at 24% and Engineering jobs sought by 11.1% of the UK population.
Automotive jobs continue to increase as the F1 & Automotive, Manufacturing and Engineering industries place importance on investing to recruit new technical talent. At VHR we are consistently working with large UK and global Automotive and Engineering companies, offering technical jobs including CNC Millers, Composite Laminators and Sheet Metal Workers.
Leading up to Brexit, the UK manufacturing industry accelerated in growth this summer, and the UK Automotive, Engineering and Manufacturing industries continue to surpass expectations of growth. Manufacturing also boosted the headline GDP figure for the UK after improving from a weak second quarter.
This growth in Engineering and Automotive jobs follows the current UK Precision Engineering skills shortage, providing positive signs for Engineering companies and the 1.8 million workers needed to fulfil requirements in the next eight years.
If you are an Engineer or Technician with experience across Aerospace & Aviation, F1 & Automotive, Engineering & Defence or Marine, now is the perfect time to apply for a new job or find your perfect career.
