Goodwood Revival: Historic British motor racing
Celebrate your passion for vintage cars and old clothes during a weekend at the Goodwood’s historic racing circuit. Lovers of cars built between 1948 and 1966 should attend this event and appreciate an exclusive experience.
The world’s most celebrated historic motor racing event, whose first edition was held in 1998, is going to take place at Goodwood Estate, West Sussex, England from 8th – 10th September.
Discover old vintage cars while wearing 1940s-1960s clothes; this unique event gives you the opportunity to enjoy races during three days and appreciate fashion from this era. As Jools Holland has unambiguously said:
“It’s like walking back perfectly into a black and white photograph, except it’s in colour and 3D, it’s amazing.”
Spectators will appreciate an incredible programme. The motorsport event starts on Friday 8th with an introduction to all the cars attending the Goodwood Revival and a race into the sunset.
Don’t miss the seven races held on Saturday including the St Mary’s Trophy where many motorsport stars are competing and the Goodwood Trophy with Voiturettes and Grand Prix cars built after the World War II and up to 1950; this great event to go will end on 10th with the coronation of winners on Sunday.
Many famous people from the Motorsport industry will meet at the Goodwood revival such as the former Formula 1 driver Giedo Van der Garde and the 9-times Le Mans winner Tom Kristensen. You may also stumble upon the worldwide legend Rowan Aktinson – be prepared to discover Mr Bean is an impressive driver!
