Business Intelligence Internship at VHR: Claudia's Intern Blog
“When given the opportunity to come to the most cosmopolitan city in the world, I couldn’t say no!”
My name is Claudia and I am a 22-year-old recent graduate. I come from the city with the most beautiful sky in the world, Madrid (Spain).
I am completing a 3-month Business Intelligence internship helping VHR’s international Marine team. Working in a multinational environment like the one at VHR was very appealing to me and inspired me to apply for the internship.
So far in my Business Intelligence internship, I have learned a lot about the marine sector in a very short period of time. I have also improved my Excel skills, can efficiently gather and analyse data and have expanded on my whole skill set.
On my first day at VHR, the HR intern Selin met me and delivered a presentation on the values and long-term goals of the business. After introductions to the rest of VHR’s London team, I was excited to start on the first challenges and learning opportunities of my Business Intelligence internship.”

VHR offers unpaid internships which cover only meal and travel expenses. VHR’s unpaid internships fulfil all legal criteria as outlined by HMRC; unpaid internships do not automatically result in paid job positions. Please contact Jai Popat at Jai.Popat@v-hr.com for further clarification.
